First stage of WAT Museum Construction Complete

The first stage of the Winslow Art Trust Museum will be completed by the end of March 2018. The first phase of the project renovated the original historic passenger waiting room, rebuilt the roof on the original freight room, enclosed the south arcade in glass, and added a large gallery space with glass walls that face north and south in the area that once contained the depot annex.

With the first phase complete, La Posada crews will now spend roughly 3 months doing finish work on the museum. This includes painting, laying floor and some minor landscaping.

The team hopes to have the museum ready for its first event by August, 2018.
