WAT provides both residents and tourists with programs that highlight regional history, culture, and the artists that work along Historic Route 66. When you attend a WAT event, you might learn about the history of the Santa Fe Railroad in the Southwest during a presentation in La Posada’s Ballroom. You might decorate a sugar skull and light a candle for a departed family member at Snowdrift’s Día de los Muertos Celebration. You might visit with a Winslow Harvey Girl and see a display of historic Fred Harvey china. You might watch a performance of Winslow’s Folklorico Dancers in the El Gran Art Garage.
